Counseling and therapy are not about “fixing” you. They’re about awareness and connection.

Almost everyone can benefit from counseling. No one is immune to the stress and strain that daily life brings. At times, we may feel more or less stress depending on a variety of factors, including our perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, traumatic experiences, and even unknown factors. Therapy is about a connection, feeling heard, validation, and reflecting your truth back to you.

What People Are Saying

Mrs. Jessica Shields coached and counseled my granddaughter during her middle school years, which was a trying period. Mrs. Shields was such a blessing. She just knew when our child needed help and was there for her. She was very professional, caring and loving but also offered guidance through some very difficult times. We were so blessed to have her. I highly recommend her.”

— Lily (Parent of a child)

“Jessica helped my daughter through her early teen years. She was simply amazing with her, and ME, the mother, during the most difficult time in a girl’s life. I am not sure how we would have made it through those rough years without her wisdom and guidance. We have maintained relationship since then and Jessica continues to guide me as a parent through uncertain times.”

— Beth (Parent of a teen)

“Mrs. Jessica has always been spirit lifting to me. She always has a genuine concern about what you’re telling her or what is going on and has a way of making you feel completely comfortable with any situation.”

— Emma (Teen)
